Work experience

Administrative Assistant
Wellspring Niagara Cancer Support Centre
Pelham, Ontario, Canada
June 2024 - August 2024

As an administrative assistant at Wellspring Niagara, I had the opportunity to interact with individuals confronting diverse cancer diagnoses. My position involved offering support through attentive listening, facilitating a positive environment, and promoting programs tailored to their needs. This experience accentuated the significance of community and active listening in healing. Each person I met exhibited a unique form of resilience, and I felt privileged to be part of their journey towards remission. The center was a sanctuary for cancer survivors, characterized by smiles and encouragement. I achieved wisdom in the mental health aspect of recovery and the importance of open discussion.

Audiobook Narrator and Translator
Antarctic Institute of Canada
August 2022 - September 2022

My experience as an audiobook translator and narrator broadened my perspective of language and culture. I had the privilege of translating two novels, “Gandy and the Musician” and “Gandy and the Princess,” written by Catharine Mardon in collaboration with the Antarctic Institute of Canada, from English to Hindi. Narrating the translated books allowed me to bring the characters to life and engage the listeners in the story.

Certified Pet Expert
Pet Valu
Pelham, Ontario, Canada
January 2019 - February 2025

My experience at Fonthill PetValu involved growth and learning. As a store associate, I had the opportunity to interact with animal lovers, addressing their questions and concerns. This position required me to remain informed
about various products and their suitability for different breeds and animals, enhancing my problem-solving and communication. Managing the store with daily organizing and restocking were tasks that instilled responsibility and discipline. It taught me the value of maintaining an organized and clean environment and how this correlates with a positive customer experience. This position allowed me to implement an optimistic difference between animals and their owners.
